Apparently, you are not alone.  In a recent poll conducted by California Lawyers Magazine, 70% of lawyers surveyed said they were dissatisfied in their career.

A study conducted by the Dave Nee Foundation found that:

  • Lawyers are the most frequently depressed occupational group in the U.S.
  • Lawyers are 3.6 times more likely to suffer from depression than nonlawyers
  • 26% of all lawyers who seek counseling cite depression and anxiety

40% to 70% of lawyers facing disciplinary actions and malpractice claims are found to be abusing drugs or alcohol, and/or suffering from a mental disorder.
